Role Summary

You will work in the community providing a range of supports to participants to enable them to achieve their personal goals and build their independence, including building improved daily living skills, social and community participation, emotional care support, and domestic support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support participants with activities of daily living.
  • Undertake shopping and other activities as required.
  • Varied duties that align with providing support to help participants achieve their goals.
  • Support participants to access their community, build relationships, engage with activities of their choice, and attend appointments.

Mandatory:

  • Valid work rights in Australia
  • Complete COVID-19 vaccination
  • NDIS Screening Clearance Check
  • National Police Check issued within 12 months
  • Minimum of Cert III in Individual Support or disability-related qualifications

Desirable:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Hoisting experience
  • Working with Children’s Check
  • Experience with non-verbal clients
  • Experience supporting people with mental health issues, and intellectual, and physical disabilities.
